Award-winning documentary producer working in audio and film, based in the UK.

I've had a fascination for tales of the lived human experience since as far back as I can remember, but my working relationship with documentaries began in film exhibition. For several years I  produced itinerant screenings for underserved communities and those under threat of displacement in the UK and West Bank, and later I was part of a small team to bring the UK its very first dedicated documentary cinema, Bertha DocHouse, where I produced events and coordinated the educational programme.

These days I work as a creative producer of documentaries in both film and audio format. In film I work closely with directors I love, as well as a small handpicked team, in both a creative and logistics capacity.  In audio I tend to work alone, producing and editing my own work. In both I gravitate towards character-led storytelling; personal micro stories as a way into the broader social topics of our time.

My documentaries have been showcased at film and audio festivals around the world, and have appeared on platforms such as the BBC, Channel 4, ABC, CBC, Al Jazeera, WNYC, Topic.com and KCRW.  My radio documentaries have been featured in the Guardian, the Financial Times, Radio 4’s Pick of the Week and have been turned into chapters of books, animations, exhibitions and one even had a song made about it!

I regularly work as Creative Producer at Whalebone Films and Fat Rat Films, two companies very close to my heart.
